Founded in 2020 by California native Jovan (Jojo) Williams, 19eighty emerged during a global pandemic.
Our Founder's Vision
With a lifelong passion for decor and a special love for flowers, Jojo embarked on a journey to create her own signature rose boxes. Her quest led her to Ecuador, home to the most exquisite roses. Balancing her roles as a single mother of four, a full-time worker, and a homeschool teacher, Jojo's dedication and perseverance paid off, culminating in the launch of her floral venture.
A New Chapter in Houston
After relocating to Houston, Texas, in 2022 to care for her ailing mother, Jojo is ready to rejuvenate her business. The revamped 19eighty now features a storefront offering candles, floral arrangements, and preserved roses, alongside a chic, trendy cocktail bar.
