What are preserved roses?
19eighty preserved roses are 100% real roses grown in Ecuador. The preserving process consists of rehydrating the rose from its petals to its stem and replaces the sap within it. After approximately two weeks the process is complete and you have preserved roses that are flexible and still remain a natural look.
Rose preservation is also eco-friendly, and the process allows them to last much longer than dried flowers.
How to care for your preserved roses:
- DO NOT WATER. Water or any liquid can cause damage
- Should not be kept in high moisture areas or dry places.
- Avoid contact with direct sunlight to prevent discoloration or fading.
- Blow with a cool air dryer from a moderate distance when dusty.
- Avoid touching flowers, our hands contain oils and dirt which can be damaging to the roses.
- Flowers will last minimum of a year with proper care.
How long do preserved flowers last?
There is no expiration date for preserved flowers. The appearance depends on its environmental conditions. As time permits, roses may begin to crack or leaves may fall off (let them fall organically). The higher the humidity of the environment, the shorter its lifespan. Preserved flowers generally have a shelf life of 1-3 years. However, if stored in a sealed casing, they can last for up to 10 years.
*Please remember these are real roses that have been preserved, and they will begin to age gracefully, as they will still remain a beautiful site to see*
